The La Sportiva BMC British Bouldering Championships are returning to the Cliffhanger Festival at Devonshire Green in Sheffield this July.

The La Sportiva BMC British Bouldering Championships return to the heart of Sheffield city centre at Devonshire Green, on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July.

Come and watch our finest home-grown athletes test their mettle against each other in this senior-only, IFSC Boulder World Cup style event.

The pivotal event of every boulderers calendar since 1998, the BMC British Bouldering Championships (BBCs) are organised by the BMC, form the national championships in the UK, and count towards selection for the GB Climbing Team.

The headline sponsor for the 2019 BMC British Bouldering Championships is La Sportiva, and CLIF Bar are supporting sponsor.

Anybody wishing to experience a World Cup style competition can compete, providing you're born no later than 2003.

For the second year running, thanks to the support of CLIF Bar, we will livestream the British Bouldering Championships to BBC Sport.

Come down to Cliffhanger Festival at Devonshire Green in Sheffield to experience the atmosphere, cheer on the climbers and check out all the stands and activities. Entry is free, and we'll be there.
