Strength, determination, and a whole load of tenacity saw Nathan Phillips and Holly Toothill win the crown at the La Sportiva BMC British Bouldering Championships 2019. See below for the replay of the finals and a link to the full results:

Fantastic performances and an awesome crowd, the British Bouldering Championships this year continued to impress with yet another stellar event. Devonshire Green was packed to the brim, and the entranced spectators rallied behind each athlete to cheer them on to the top. Great atmosphere and it was impressive to see Nathan Phillips retain his title as British Bouldering Champion, while young gun Holly Toothill won the crown for her first time.

Thanks to everyone that made it a success: the volunteers and judges, brushers and routesetters, and Sheffield City Council for organising the brilliant Cliffhanger Festival. Not to mention our sponsors La Sportiva, Clif Bar, and Beta Setting for providing us with the brilliant holds that made the whole competition, and particularly the final, look amazing.
