Tickets Now on Sale for the British Lead, Speed, and Para Championships 2023
Tickets are now on sale for the British Lead, Speed, and Para British Championships. This event promises to be an electrifying national sporting spectacle, offering multiple pulse-racing sessions and something for everyone!
Hosted by the BMC (British Mountaineering Council) and GB Climbing, the championship marks a welcome return to Edinburgh, the city that previously hosted the IFSC Lead and Speed World Cup in September 2022. EICA: Ratho is the largest and only climbing centre in the UK with international standard competition walls for Lead and Speed.
The 2023 edition of the event starts on Friday 8 September with an open qualifying session.
Zoe Spriggins, Competition Programmes Manager at GB Climbing, said: “As interest in sport/competition climbing grows, we are delighted to be building out our national competition programmes. To be able to welcome spectators back to the EICA: Ratho one year after the sold-out IFSC Speed and Lead World Cup where we saw Britain’s Toby Robert’s take a bronze medal is truly exciting and a testament to the increasing popularity of the sport.
